Any clinical subject requires continuous research activity to develop and evolve leading to better users-friendly end-product. Any full-scale research activity incurs high expenditure. Moreover, this is exactly where the Government of India should step in. Oral healthcare has always been neglected in terms of actual research. However, the Government should realize this is one of the areas where the Government is spending a huge amount of money for public healthcare. Hence, developing cheaper and longer lasting dental materials should be a priority. Incentive should also be given to private dental colleges and dental companies for actual research work in this field.
Hoping for a better dental tomorrow.
Pronam and Praying.
